Nike Jordan celebrates the 30th birthday of its iconic Air Jordan 5 this year, and the high-flying sneaker label partners with Virgil Abloh’s Off-White to create yet another deconstructed version. A follow up to the ‘Black Metallic’ pair that released back in February, this ‘Sail’ variant takes on a similar OG-inspired colourway; it’s a reimagining of the black-soled ‘Fire Red’ that retains the model-synonymous reflective tongue and shark-tooth adornments on the midsole. The switch-up, however, comes through the upper where a ripstop-like textile covers the entirety and not-yet-cut holes reflect Abloh’s industrial aesthetic.
